MY PERSPECTIVE;
MY PERSPECTIVE;

IT HIT ME.

So I’m watching tv right now & it’s about Jesus being in a cross & one of the preacher told a story.

There was a boy & an old man. The old man was his dad. His son took care of him because he no longer have any strength to do anything since his old now. But until one day, the son told himself that his done. That enough is enough. He could no longer take care of his dad. He took his dad to the forest, & told him, “Im sorry Dad, I can’t take care of you anymore. I can’t take it. So it’s best for me to take you out of the house.” he carried his dad on his shoulder as they walked out of the house. While they were on their way to forest, the Dad got a branch & leaves in each tree they passed by. Right when they got to the place, the son dropped his dad on the ground. He told his Dad “Dad I am sorry that I’m leaving you here. I just can’t do it anymore. I won’t be able to witness your death. With all the branches & leaves you got, please don’t try to come home anymore.” The dad said “Its okay son. Leave me here. But one thing, forgive me for all the things I’ve done to you, and thank you son for everything that you have done for me. ” the son started walking away but he stopped & look back. He asked, “Dad Why did you pick all those leaves & branches on our way here?” the Dad goes “Here take this. I picked this leaves & branches because it’s for you. Incase you get lost & can’t find your way home, this you will know the way. You will find home & get out of this forest.” Then the son realized something. He picked up his dad, carried him on his way back home & there, he told his dad that he was sorry for what he did. But the dad forgive & he died later on. WHY DID HIS SON TOOK HIM BACK HOME? Because he realized all the things that his dad done for him. That when he was a little kid, his dad was the one who took care of him. Put him to school & gaved him everything he needed & provided him the best things in life. & That without his dad & the things his done for him, he wouldn’t be the person he is now. So after his dad’s death, he thanked him, because without him, he would never experience the best thing in life & see the good things in the world. Going to school, having a good job, a happy family & everything. Without his dad, he wouldn’t be in the place he’s at right now.

What I’ve learned in this story is that, when our parents get old, I don’t think it’s right for us to put them into care home because “we are so busy with our life & can’t take care of them.” Think about it, how can you not take care of them & not have time for them? Is it because your too busy making money? Or you just dont wanna take care of them at all because you’ll have to do the most work. Money cant buy happiness. Think about that. &Also, ask yourself this. If your working & have time to go to work, do all this work for somebody since they own the company, why cant you have time for your parents atleast? From being a little kid to growing up as an adult, they have been there for you. Gaved you all the best things in life. They might lecture you and everything but they have their reasons why. They dont want you go to the wrong path of life. They get mad at you because they just wanna make sure that you wont be having a hard time later on in the future. They put you to school so you won’t be like them when you grow up, that they didn’t go to school or whatever reason. They just want the best for you so your future won’t be the same as theirs. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing putting your parents into the carehome, because everyone has their reasons why. But one thing is, realize what your parents do for you. They work so hard because they care, wants the best for you. Never think they don’t love you because if they didn’t, they would of never take care of you when you was a little kid or never take care of you in the first place. Be thankful because of them. Don’t forget what they have done for you because in all those sweats & bodyache they had, they dealt with it & never complained because they know in the end that it’s all for you. So embrace it, take the chance & never take your parents for granted. Have time for them when they get old, show them that you care, thank them because if it weren’t for them, you wouldn’t be the person you are now. Pay off all the things they’ve done for you. Atleast show them some love, respect & care.
