“SILENT REMINDER”

I’ve seen this man ever since my first time visiting San Francisco when I was 12. I’m now 16. Every time I see someone saying they’re going to Sf, they always have a picture of this man holding this sign up. I see a picture of this man everywhere on peoples’ profiles: facebook, tumblr, myspace, twitter, dailybooth, etc. I’ve always wondered why he’s always there.

Today when Anna and I went to San Francisco and as always, I saw him. I took a picture of him and that famous sign he holds up. It’s always been on my mind why he just stands there, everyday by himself. So I finally asked him, “Why are you here everyday by yourself, holding that sign up?” And this was his answer: “You don’t need a huge group of people with you to remind or tell people that Jesus Christ loves you. This is a silent reminder that even though there are people who doesn’t believe in God or have lost faith in God, he hasn’t lost faith in you or others.” This man stands straight and firm on the ground everyday, rain or shine holding this sign up high and proud to let other people know whether he’s ignored or not. He will still hold it up because he has faith in God as God has in him.

<3 I thought I should share this with everyone. Believe in him or not, he still loves you and this man was just a silent reminder to others everywhere who visits San Francisco. “He loves you, don’t ever question it.” God bless.

I was looking through Katherine Mae’s tumblr and found that she reblogged one of my posts back in July 2010. Oh man this is old. My thoughts and views definitely haven’t changed about my God’s love for us. (Picture taken by me ^-^) Throwback from 2010. He’s still there, holding up that sign. <3
